OK..... the hard cast is off... and now I have a removable cast on. This will allow me to take it off for sleeping, showering, etc. Still not allowed to put any weight on it!

Wanted me to wear this for a month, and come back and see him. I talked him into seeing me Wednesday the 13th..... The day before we leave!

He wouldn't commit to it, but he said that I might be able to drive using the right foot then, but put the removable cast back on when I go to get out of the car!

Guess that news is better than having him say... see you in a month!
