Doctor played with my foot to see if there was any pain (no pain felt)....
He then talked about the MRI from 2 weeks ago... it was showing healing is happening, but not as fast as he wants.
Told me that I am still on the non-weight bearing list!
Sent me downstairs for X-Rays and then to go home. He will call me later to discuss what we are going to do going forward. He wants me on a Bone Growth Stimulator, but insurance is stating I have to wait till day 91 to get one.... which is 6-7 days away still.
I tried to call Capital Blue Cross to ask them what can be done to get this thingmajig now..... they said the doctor was the only one who could call to get pre-authorization.... would not even tell me yes, it was possible to get it before day 90 or not... They were less than no help whatsoever!
So, here I sit, ready to start self-medicating with bourbon..... this is driving me frickin crazy!

The other day when I talked to the doc on the phone and he first told me about it....
I called Kathy and told her about it..... and she started laughing her head off.....
I kept asking her why she was laughing.... but she couldn't answer due to she was laughing so hard....
Later I found out that what I said... or what she heard....
Was that the doc wanted me to get some kind of strap on stimulator!!
