Yea I just saw that one pop up, wasn't sure what was going on there. Does everyone want to do both road to nowhere and also both of those falls? will be a long day of driving but they're all good sights. For me, I'm definitely doing the Road to Nowhere, but I don't mind going with a very small group if that's all that is interested.
I do want to make sure we don't overcrowd Caff'e Rel with both groups arriving at the same time. They have somewhat limited seating and are always busy on Friday lunch.
those that posted as interested in this thread, how do you feel?

we hit "the filling station deli sub shop" in Bryson city for lunch that day- great food, great atmosphere. its just beside the awesome bicycle shop, bryson city bicycles. After you leave the parking lot, you'll be on the road that takes you up the mountain to the RTN.

the road is decent concrete- little pebbly in consistency, with some areas having loose bits from the deteriorating surface. It is quite grippy for the most part. we were told to watch for bicycle riders on the road, but we saw none. you don't really need a flash light, but it does get fairly dark in there. lots of graffiti in the tunnel itself. pretty dusty inside the tunnel.
enjoy
