This year we'll continue that tradition. There is a limit to the number of cars in the group so sign up as soon as possible. If the drive fills up we will start a second group.
We will meet at Wildwood grille parking lot at 9:30 AM and plan to leave around 9:45 AM and if we have a second group they will leave around 10 AM
The Drive (Pace is moderate) We will head to Caffe Rel in Franklin via Wayah Rd. We will fuel up at the gas station there before lunch. After Lunch we will take US 64 to Highlands (there are two water falls that we can stop at on the way there, Dry Falls and Bridal Veil Falls). If there we have time and votes, we can make a stop in Highlands for ice cream at Sweet Treats. We will leave Highlands taking 1144 north with the end goal of taking Ellijay Rd back to 64. We will then take 28 north back to Fontana Village. Total drive time 4hrs 57min Map (https://goo.gl/maps/U8CuWCtCp8wj7seYA) This puts us getting back to Fontana around 5PM.
