We definitly need to have both incar(which I saw a thread for already) as well as a person on the sidelines with a cam corder getting us as we zip through the S's in the distance then up close for a drive/fly by.

I did this on a secret run to the dragon on S2K Days. There were only 5 of us. Lips2000, Lobes, John(TX), Gregg, and I. I think that was everybody.

In short what I did was buzz ahead of everybody.....not out driving them just left early. I watched the HID's twinkle through the trees then heard our VTEC engine screaming!!!! A flash of red then another and it dissapears.......then around the corner in straight sight there is Gregg! Flyes down the straight and around another turn and zips by me.........if he only kept on the hammer down the straight it would have sounded awsome!

I think we need to definitly get these tapes put onto one tape!!!!! I so wanted to have that happen for S2K Days though nobody sent in their stuff and things fell through on the other end.

I have no doubt that this will be another Drive all day drink all night and then do it again the next day affair!

Things needed are going to be a Tripod, camera, tape, person to operate it and a few good spots to see our car in action! I don't want the person with the camera to do any panning or movement of the camera........let the S2K's come in and out of the picture on their own.(background music would be nice) Top gun?

I will be there with 2 DV cameras. 1 in car and one for the sidelines. I will be trading some driving time for some filming time. It will be worth it. I plan to edit and copy to DVD.

You may want to reserve a MG camera mount, it will hold up to 3 camcorders at once.

I will be there with 2 dv cams and 1 high 8.

this is to ensure the best video's put together from the S owners attending this run.

Sounds good. I will have 2 Canon 1XLS camera there.

 

It would be great to record sounds of the different makes of exhaust ! People on this board are always asking about how the different systems sound. It would be a great service to the S2000 community to do this and post in one common place. What do think ??

 

Tim, I could probably go up there with you/behind you (alot behind you, just traded in my 300ZX for a 2002 Eclipse, its not as fast but also doesn't have as many probs ) to do most of the filimg while you have fun taming the dragon. Hell, If you'd rather do the filming I could always drive your s2k for you
