S2000 owners are coming from all points of the compass. Many of you are only known by name or screen name .

In the event of a major emergency, I feel it would be important that someone knows how to reach the next of kin.

I know this sounds like an overly cautious idea but it is something worth considering.

I have as a contact on my cell phone designated ICE for in case of emergency the number to call if I or my wife have amedical or truamatic injury.

If you do not have such a designation on your phone, I think it would be a good idea to furnish one of the leaders with a name and number to reach in case you go off the mountain.

A good point indeed. I'm surprised we've come this far and haven't seen this come up before.

Honestly, in the future it may make sense to have this as part of the registration process, maybe?
