Anyone have an extra room?
Unfortunately, the "McCabin" has all 3 rooms + sofa all full-up. Anyone have an extra room/bed?

McDragon weekend updates:

(From Dealsgap.com; Ben's daily blogs)
T-DOT update: The road crew are almost finished the northbound pass to fill in the pull offs. They are great too. Just an FYI, they are not there just for cars, but for bikes too. If you find yourself to be the slower rider/driver with people piling up behind you, take a minute and pull over to let the others pass. Legally in TN, if you are holding 5 or more vehicles up, you should be pulling over.

(From tailofthedragon.com Events calendar) Looks like we'll have a few Mustangs in the area (30 or so)....
"3rd Annual Mustangs Assault the Dragon by the Tennessee Mustang Club"

I didn't think Mustangs actually turned left-to-right and back again . Something about a 1800's wagon-type 'solid rear axle' still being used in an otherwise 21st century vehicle??? A shame too...

I'm like Kallan, too -- have to wait for Fall. A friend, Linda's cycling coach, is leaving for a project in Afghanistan, and there is a party for him on Saturday.

Have fun and drive safely -- hate to miss this.

Damn, I'll have to wait for the next event. I've already promised to do someone a favor this weekend.

I'm sooooo bummed I'm going to miss it this year. I've been backpacking around Europe for about a week now, and I'll be here until August 7th. Europe has been great, but it still doesn't beat seeing some of my favorite friends. I guess I'll just have to wait until DBR to get my fix. Anyway, I expect you all to take lots of pictures for me... preferably some more of Raul getting drunk and acting like an asshat.

Check out my travels at www.mikethewanderer.com . I have listed a full itinerary, as well as (semi)-daily updates and pictures from places like Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Milan, Venice, and now Vienna. I'm leaving for Salzburg on Friday.

Greetings from Vienna. Much love,
Mike
