FYI, we'll be in cabin 620 (near Laurel Brook fire pit), beginning Thursday evening (6/7), so feel free to drop by! Likely to have dinner at the Wildwood Grille that night.

 

The Queen and I will be there friday afternoon. We decided to check out "The Biltmore" on friday morning and Mt Mitchell if time permits. Really looking forward to see yall again. If we don't see you friday, breakfast at deals gap will be a must saturday morning. Mike from New Orleans said that the hilltops drive was great. Will we have time to check that out Sheila? We can certainly do the Hilltops drive or anything else the group decides on Saturday. That's the beauty of it. If you go to Biltmore Friday, we won't likely see you until Saturday. Have fun!

 

I am taking my bumper with the Indycar decal up there to put on the tree of shame at Deal's Gap to remind people what not to do on those great roads. I will post up pictures after I get back home. Later BD

 

don't be surprised if it disappears within a day or two. them motorcycle folk don't take kindly to people putting car parts on "their" tree

personally, i don't take too kindly to them clogging up all the roads, but we can't all get what we want now can we?

I've been dying to try out the grille!! Maybe I can come up thursday after work if I can get friday off (even though I start work on monday at this new job )

By the way, I tried to make reservations at Fontana yesterday, and a certain "Teresa" said they won't honor the dragon slayer discount unless I book WITHIN 7 days, so I guess I'll reserve my room tomorrow
