Ill be staying wherever the event is, as long as it doesnt get further than Alcoa. I do like the idea of having everyone in 1 big hotel, and easily accessible food.

And the funniest thing is Florian is 3-4 hours from the dragon, he can go drive it any time

I had so much fun at WTDX, I will be attending WTDXI no matter where we stay.
I'm looking forward to getting back there already!

Those pic's are priceless!

..... WOW...This is going to awesome !!!! The memories continue !!!

...all we need is Joe, Gary & Westside Billy....back

hahaha..... well, since Hilton is next to the airport, in theory, WSB could fly back from Seattle for an event.. not that i'd want that guy back, and especially not driving my car again (good thing we only got a warning ) j/k

this event is about the people.... always has been, always will be... (well, and the romance writers of course )

I remember the last time WSB flew in for WTD. He helped with my first Poker Run and I let him drive my car - THAT WAS AN EXPERIENCE!

Yea, eh. And he's price conscious, too, eh. He doesn't want to spend half a tank every day plus extra hotel expenses, eh!

/rant.

I have a feeling Alcoa will be cheaper in terms of hotel, could be wrong though. Half a tank to get to the dragon from Alcoa, I knew your car had problems but never knew they were that bad

I'm working on the budget now...looks like EventBrite for the registration will be out...it's simply too expensive and even with passing that cost to the attendee, it's money we can use towards the event for food and stuff.

I think I'll use MyAutoEvents.com again...it's been YEARS since I used them...but expect the details soon.

Also - do you think going to a CHECK MAIL-IN for registration would make folks go nutz?

???

Not me, but I'm an "old guy", who is very comfortable with with mid 20th century business practice.
