First of all....nobody around here is getting "worked up" except for you.
Second. I have spoke with at least 5-6 other members here who have expressed that there are certain things about fontana that are more appealing over alcoa. The proximity to the dragon is FAR from the only reason. People each have different reasons for feeling a certain way. Far be it for me to make any determinations for any other human as I can only speak for myself. We all have the utmost respect for the WTD event and it's counterpart DBR event.
But at the same rate, we are grown men who make our own decisions. If you find that to be disrespectful, then it seems that you have some feelings about it that are your own and not necessarily shared by everyone else. It's a free world and it's all about having a great time at the event. If some people decide to stay at different locations, that shouldn't be a problem in yours or anyone's eyes. As long as everyone is there for the same reason, where a man lays his head at night is irrelevant.

I know I know. The thing is I was driving, and sitting in traffic when I got the call, and she basically told me I have 2 days to decide....so I quickly got on here and made a thread about it. Now that we have some more concrete info, I will run it by my crew and see what's what. Unfortunately, I don't think they are going to want to stay in Alcoa, but regardless of where we stay, we will still do everything with the group as well as the meets and drives.

I have an idea. Let's stay in toronto. We can all leave from there. Cross an international border, cruise the coblestone roads of downtown pittsburgh , run and rerun some mountain tunnels, Cross and run the BRP several times, then the dragon, then "LSD & wreck Ken,then the waterfall tour,then the whole WTD event and wreck Bama, then play hide and seek on the compLetion of the circle Lake Erie tour, another border crossing and then all head for home._Should only take 8 days.----- oh wait- that was WTD X. Hmmm. Ya,Let's do something different next year. The great Canadian tour II

My step-daughter Megan got baptised today...
And a lot of people were taking pictures......
And I just had to control that one digit from making an appearance!!!!
