Well, I'm still planning on going, but I just got laid off today If I have the money I will be up there!

Last fall was the first time in like 3 Dragon trips that I was actually able to take paid vacation to go, so I know where you are coming from!

I'm with Dave, first round is on me..... friday night at the beer swap.... with all the free beer. What? I'm broke too!

 

LOL, I, for one, am not waiting until Friday night for the first round.

I'm thinking now what to bring for the wine tasting. might do the Gnarly Head Zin again, since everyone seemd to like it, and a different-styled Pinot Noir.

Mike, what is the Abita Amber like? The store here where I can get Turbo Dog cheap just started stocking it.....

Amber is my favorite of the Abita (all season) brews. It is my "goes with everything" beer. It is smooth and has a bit of caramel flavoring. My (real) favorite Abita brew is one of their seasonal brews, Red Ale. I'll be bringing quite a few Abita Brews to the beer swap as usual.

The good news is that I'm not bringing an evil, gold digging, bratty, whiny, BIOTCH with me this time (for those of you who had the *pleasure* of meeting Brittany)... so I'll have more room in the trunk for beer! Sure I'll be lonely at night, but that's what all the booze is for.
