No King bed Lodge Rooms left! Better get moving if you want to be in the lodge.

Thing to remember about lodge rooms.....

Fontana considers the other buildings near the main lodge as lodge rooms also!

If you want in the "lodge" itself, you need to specify that, and then keep your fingers crossed!

Is it possible to register without including the menu portion?
Are you talking about registration by eliminating the meals? Your registration covers food on Friday night, lunch on Saturday and the dinner banquet on Saturday.

Eliminating that amount would reduce the registration...but what would you do for food?

Last year there was an option without food. I dont want to be restricted to eating at one or two restuarants where I dont know the menu and/or food, since there are a couple local places I want to check out. Im not sure it would be worth my while ya know?

Restaurant? Robbinsville? Seriously? Saturday night is the banquet at Fontana Village (no restaurant there), Saturday for the drive? Box lunches? Friday night, you're on your own. Sunday? Breakfast...Deal's Gap? Not exactly a plethora of places to explore in the area (believe me, if there were a 4 star restaurant within 60 miles, I would find it).
