Nothing is "a la carte" this year. Unfortunately that option only complicates the registration process and it's not worth it. Hope you understand.

Last year there was an option without food. I dont want to be restricted to eating at one or two restuarants where I dont know the menu and/or food, since there are a couple local places I want to check out. Im not sure it would be worth my while ya know?
For a group this size, you pretty much have to offer inclusive meals to make sure everyone gets fed and has a venue for socializing. (It just wouldn't be WTD without our ball-field gathering and the beer swap!)

Food-wise, you can typically expect a cookout Friday night (burgers, etc.), a picnic-style lunch on Saturday (box lunch) and a nice dinner banquet on Saturday with 2 entree choices. Vegetarian options can be made available for any of these by contacting me in advance.

All other meals are on your own. The link below provides a list of restaurant options in the area, but as others have indicated, they ARE limited. (Link also available from the "sticky" link at the top of the Dragon Events page titled "Excellent Dragon and Area Information".)

Thank you for clarifying. It must have been the Mountview bistro where we had a great lunch and the view was great.

While 4 star is nice, Ive also had great experiences at other fine 'lesser' establishments with great food and ambiance that I may not have found if I had been hung up solely on the cover of the book so to speak.

Vegetarian option was kinda what I was looking for.
