Default Wyndham Reservation Info

As everyone knows we've selected the Wyndham Garden as our HQ hotel for the event. The contracts are signed and the rooms are reserved. Now it's up to you guys and gals!

Here are some of the particulars:

The Wyndham will take reservations beginning tomorrow August 7th.

The number to call is 865-531-1900.

The password is "Dragon Days". Please use this when you call for reservations or you won't get the group rate! If you happen to have a problem when calling Debbie Byrd is our contact.

Rooms are $69.00 per night single/double occupancy or $99.00 for a suite.

You must register prior to Sept. 7th to secure the group pricing, so act now!!!

We have requested that 25 room be set aside for our use. Obviously if we exceed that number they will be happy to reserve more. We elelcted to make it 25 in order to lock in the use of the "free" hospitality suite for the three days.

Here is a link to more info about the Wyndham in Knoxville. I think it's one of the best deals going. Hopefully you will agree! Feel free to PM me or post here if you have questions.

See you in September!

I'm calling first thing tomorrow!!! We should have no problems filling the 25 rooms.

Mack, did the $69/$99 room rate include breakfast at the hotel restaurant (Garden Cafe)?

I believe the answer is yes but you might confirm when you call your reservation in.

OK, so what is all planned? I know the Dragon Run and drives are Saturday, and I'm guessing Friday night is get to know people (dinner/drinks).

Thought I heard a while back, that there is a AutoX or something on Sunday that a few people might go to?

I'm just trying to figure out when to make reservations for. Sounds like it will be Friday and Saturday night for sure.

Was wondering why we had the free hospitality suite for 3 days? Are people planning on staying Sunday night also?

Inquiring minds want to know!

This is looking really good! Still not sure we can attend yet....but working on it.

Good questions, LovetoDrive2000.

John, Mack, could you post the tentative agenda?

Lovestodrive2000 and smccoy-

The tentative agenda is posted.

We'll have the hospitality suite Fri. and Sat. night only. Of course your welcome to stay an additional night if you like you just won't have the suite to hang out in if you do.

qmahmudapex-

I spoke to Debbie Byrd out contact at the hotel and she said they do have suites reserved for us at 99.00. Apparently there was some miscommunication between her and the person taking the reservation. If you'd like to try again feel free. If they say no again ask for Debbie directly and she'll take care of you.

Sorry about the confusion.
