I'm little bit worried about the possibility of having some kind of mechanical issue during the meet and i think that it would be good to contact some Honda local dealers in order to have a sort of "On duty garage"
Have you guys consider this?
Anybody??

Yes it has been looked at.

We will have access to a local garage (possibly not Honda, I will try to find out) and a tow truck in case of any problems/accidents.

I think the Italians called it "Assistenza stradale" when I spoke to them.

Personally, I think that 'Kowalski's' idea isn't bad... ofcourse we drive a Honda which will not break down (hope so ) but to have a local garage nearby & 'on standby' would come very handy. If possible, even a Honda garage would be better because they have also the knowledge about the car.

Everybody will travel a lot of miles to get there. So all kind of small issues with the car will be possible. Let's say: flat tires, quick oil refills, water problem, etc...
I guess, it will be huge relief for certain drivers to know that there's a (Honda) garage standby for all your questions or problems upon arrival.

Something to work out in detail. Maybe ask a Honda garage from around Trento and give them free 'sponsorship' on the event for their "standby-effort" in that weekend

by the way..

It might be a stupid question.. but..

It's stated previously that each hotel has a private parking place..

Now the question is.. will we have a "guaranteed" private parking place for each one of the participants?

I will put this question to the President of the Italian S2K Club the next time I speak to him.

Well honestly guys, I may be wrong,
but handling more than 150 private places would be a real nightmare for the organisation ...

I prefer them to organize all the rest than having to deal with private places

Well that's nothing the organization should care about, but something the hotel should care about..

The main problem is that in a normal case it might not be easy to find a parking place in the street in a touristic place in high season (like it's the case) .. so it might get even more difficult if that place gets the visit of 150 additional cars...

I might be not funny to have to walk some km in the middle of the night from where the car is parked to the hotel (thats my main concern...)
