I found this site which may help those still concerned about snow. They are located close to the M20 which could be good for picking them up on the way to Dover and they offer a rental option / delivery to your home. (I dont work for them !)

I will be keeping an eye on the forecast as we approach the departure date and may take this option if their looks like a risk of winter conditions through Austria and into Italy.

We are only a week before the end of the restriction so I would expect the risk is very slight but worth being prepared..

So what is the weather like in the region now, do they still have snow lying around? Just wondering if we should get some kind of chains.....

 

The internet has lots of web sites on weather, inlcuding ones with webcams.

Do a little bit of your own research would be my best advice.
