Hey Skip
Some of my friends took their cars from the US over here and back. They didn't have to change anything on them. Strangly enough the German police doesn't care about US military plates. For example - tinted windows in the front are not allowed but a friend of mine has them and he's never been stopped before.
As far as I know they didn't even go to the T

Very nice! I'm glad I was misinfomed. I have an exhaust, CAI, suspension mods, gears, etc. In about a month I'll have a Comptech supercharger as well.
Tomorrow I'll be contacting the Army and Air Force heads that oversee the bowling programs service-wide. I will be asking about bases in the regions you all have mentioned. I was never stationed over there, however, I did spend three days in Frankfurt(spelled?) at the Army hospital when I was medivac'd from Desert Storm in '91.

Yeah you shouldn't have any probs with the extras. If you have a chance tho, you should check with whomever is responsible on base. Just to double check.
Frankfurt isn't a nice city really. Heidelberg is really nice with all it's ole houses and the river. Stuttgart's not bad. My friends like it better than home

Ryan, I already moved from southwestern Arizona to just south of DC about 6 years ago. That was a nice little jaunt.
After wrecking my S at Fall Colors, I put plans on hold. The car is almost back together and getting close to show quality. The earliest I would want to go over would be August. It still is something I want to do, especially after seeing the pics from the 'ring outing over Easter weekend.
