Hi,

I went to the ring this morning to give the S a few laps, well it became a bit more 6 actually, it's hard to stop when one is having fun

It was the first time I was there on a Sunday and the traffic was quite fair, only around double the amount of cars, compared to a Monday. The opposition today was as follows: loads of Porches at least 40, from boxters, to ordinary 911's, GT2's, GT3's and pure raceing verisons, Ordinary BMW's, BMW M3's and M5's, M roadsters as well as a Z8, a Ferrari Dino kind of car (I don't know the old Ferrari's), Lotus Elises, Lotus Exige, Lotus Esprit as well as loads of more or less standard cars of all sorts.

The greatest event today was a drive on the max, where I was able to keep up with a (without doubt lousy) Porche 911 driver, but never the less, I was in front for almost half a lap, and when he overtook me I was on his tail for the rest of the lap and he only gained marginally, until we came to end straight were he was gone !

Nothing can match the thrill of a good track day ! Now the baby only needs a washing.

Hi Victor

Ha ha ! , you know, for me it's the thrill and not the kill that rulez. But maybe the northern loop is a bit too much, when there is no brakes on the car !

Sure the next time I'll go up there I'll let you know, this one I decided on Saturday evening, so quite impulsive decission. Doing anything for Easter ? I think I'll go up there next weekend as well, let me just check the opening times.

Friday 8:00 - 19:30
Saturday 8:00 - 19:30
Sunday 8:00 - 19:00
Monday 8:00 - 19.30

I'll also mail Yves and ask if he's interested !

Hi Victor

Sounds great about Friday or Saturday, I'll stay in touch but I have nothing planned for these days. And sure you have to fix your pads, if you want to perform up there. My wheels are totally covered in brake dust, just after 6 laps !!!!

Hi Victor

I send Yves a mail this evening if he have not replied within Thursday I'll give him call.

Do you have further info about which day you prefer ?, according to the weather forcast Friday looks like the best day. It said hotter weather on Saturday, but also that clouds could be likely.
