Default New engine question.

How did you guys drive in the new engine of your S2000? Did you pull it to Vtech ones in a while?

I kept mine out of VTEC for the first 1000K's and then progressively increased the amount of VTEC time from there on. Actually I think I might have VTEC'd it a few times before the 1000K's just to see what it was like.

I think my engine has broken in quite well I have virtually no oil consumption and the plugs look great.

I recently changed both the gearbox and diff oil for the first time @ 42,000K's and that looked good as well.

I drive pretty hard, but never before the engine has warmed through, that seems to be the trick.
