Here is the Google translation. Not perfect, as you said, but about 50% on target to get the idea.

In the column "My car" has Broom.no readers the opportunity to speak briefly about their own or their own cars, and some of his bilinteresse.
This time we'll see a pretty rare car on Norwegian roads - and strictly speaking it is not an everyday sight in other parts of the world, either. It was in fact considerably more expensive than many other equally speedy roadsters, with more resources and more sports ambitions under the skin than most competitors.
Kenneth in Tromsø has sent us pictures of his Honda S2000, which we understand has been in the real enthusiast's hands. And this is also one of the most enthusiasm-trigger that Honda has ever produced.

Unusually attractive design
S2000 roadster was launched in 1999 and was produced in quite exactly 10 years before it was over. Over the years, through a mid-term facelift in life, but the changes were small and confined to the spoilers and lights, and consequently the car was recognizable at all times.
The design of the Honda S2000 was stylish and timeless, and beat well received in Europe and the United States. But good resources and expensive technology made it expensive compared to other roadsters with a little less ambitious. Precisely designed the car plenty of praise for, especially in Europe and the USA. There were long lines undisturbed by small decorative details that Asians have traditionally been happy to hang on, and the car so fast even when it stood still.
It was also when it went. Despite a weight of about 1300 kg managed the modest 2-liter engine under the hood to sling the car past the 100 km / h in just 6.2 seconds and top speed was in the entire 240 km / h
240 self-breathing horses
As we understand the engine was only modest on paper. The volume is not so scary, especially when you knew that the car had not turbo or compressor, but construction was a demonstration of Honda's ability to create extremely flexible and fresh engines using variable valve timing and other advanced electronics.
The car was praised for its excellent driving environment, and the digital instruments were easy to read. Note the tachometer, with blushes king first from 9000 RPM. Consequently, no numbers on the tachometer red before you came very far up the scale, and the sound of a S2000 was intoxicating in itself when you whipped it through the turns.

After the face lift was also far more hungry for the winding road, it was in fact much more lively than the look of the car. But a first-S2000 that we see here is also a very run happy car, and the model was a worthy celebration of Honda's 50th anniversary, and a worthy successor to the manufacturer's roadster tradition from the 60s - cars that otherwise would never come to Norway.

Location: Tromsø
A little about myself: Jobs for the future industrial plumber and welder at a shipyard. Have a desire to get offshore later in the rig or boat. Has a great passion for motorsport. Trained active before I bought the car after it was just fooling around with the training, but will continue next year again
Are sometimes out on the town together with good friends and make the city unsafe, but prefer to drive on weekends than to party.
Plastic windows in convertible tops are not perpetual. It was Kenneth mark when he lowered the roof. Hardtop was not standard equipment for these cars, but is now high on his wish list. Car: Honda S2000, 2000 model
How long have you owned it? In two months.
See the video: This guy plays football with his S2000!
Cab window cracked in the cold
What have you done with it? Filled fuel, washed and polished it
Like most about the car: driving, sound, feeling, almost everything
Like at least with the car: that I damaged the window of caben when I took it down. Due to old and rotten PVC window + cold so cracked it.
Best experience with the car: When I bought it and drove from Bodø to Tromsø.
The sleek shape of the car seems well on this picture. Kenneth's car is the first model year, halfway through the production came during an upgrade that changed the front apron something - but most of the shell. Future plans for the car: There are a lot, keep a few cards to his chest for now. But plan on hardtop and possibly some carbon details.
Next is a GT-R?
Dream: This is my dream car. After this dream I saw a Nissan GT-R, but it is a little out of my price range, unless something dramatic happens
Other: When I saw the first "Fast and the Furious" movie in 2001, when they attended the Street Wars and Dragon Wars (can not remember), when asked Jin in a Honda S2000 with 2jz engine. I was sold.
