Speeding in Belgium
Belgium has decided that the penalties for speeding had to go up :
Limit 120 km/h if you drive +160 km/h fine is 2750 Euro
Limit 30 km/h if you drive +50 km/h fine is 2750 Euro
Driving through a red light 2750 Euro
Driving drunk 2750 Euro
So watch out !

my last ticket on the E40 cost me about 6-7000bef - so there is inflation.
Does the road conditions impact the fine?
It was noted as raining on my ticket - I don't know why they said that
- I had to pay as it was a company car.

They can take into account the road conditions and previous tickets. This influences the time your going to loos your drivers license. Because on top of the 2750 Euro you loos your drivers license between 5 days and 5 years.

j/k of course.
It's been long since I have been on the board ...
Just to remind you that I have been caught while doing 197 km/h last year.
Recently I got the verdict : 1 month suspension of drivers licens and a fine of 1000 euro's ... s*cks big time ! Was my first speeding ticket in more than 7 years ...
BTW I sold my S2000 after that but not because of that ...
Greetings every1
