SON OF A BITCH!

I went in last year after HGPSP still decaled and DON the Area Honda Repair Rep told me that this is "normal" wear and tear. I going in Tuesday, have that mf drive to the dealership and I am going to beat his face against that sharp edge and see how normal it feels...

ABOUT PHUCKEN TIME HONDA!

I don't think the Service Bulletin would get it covered if its out of warranty. It normally is just directives to the techs if the situation arises. Now it doesn't sound too expensive, so you might be able to convince the dealer to do it as a courtesy as a preventative measure.

8.2 hours of labor and a new top doesn't sound expensive? It should come out to around two grand.

They did mine under warranty a couple months ago when I got the tear on the passenger side. I think in the past it's been dependent on the dealer and their willingness to help you out. Hopefully this TSB will even things out so all dealerships will realize this is a real issue and take care of it.
