Once again Acura LMP2 came so close to an overall win at Sebring. The Lowes Fernandez Acura ARX-01B came in 2nd overall only 12.979 seconds behind the race leader......what an amazing performance after 12hrs of racing. Here is a few pics from the race.

I would like to do a group thing over there some year. We would need to send someone over early on Wed to capture an area real quick. It is a very fun time

we had a crazy time, our first race got cut short cuz some people stayed on track longer then they should have and sence we were last on track we HAD to be off by a certian time. that race was crazy they did 4 laps of green and like 3 of yellow and 22 of our 26 cars in the race had crash damage of some kind and one was framed, one car even completely and litterally ran over one of the other cars. that race ended at 6 and we had to have all the cars ready for qualifying the next day at 8 so we left at 10ish and got back at the track at 6 (with a 1hr. each way commute haha). It rained before the 2nd race so we had to change to rain tires in the rain and get them out on track. they did much better this race with 11 laps (what they can run on a tank of gas) and only one of them under full course caution, with only 5 crash damaged cars but 2 of them framed. the guy that won the 2nd race was the guy that did the running over in the first race.

this is the most effed up car we had. this is the car that brought out the cation for the last lap of the 2nd race, also the car that got ran over the first race and i was the one that fixed it after that and then he goes and recks it again! but its got frame damage so its going to Ct.
he actually was a really good driver from england picking up the most positions in both races before recking out of both.
this was in the rain after he made up a lot of positions trying to push up to people ahead of him and he lost it in 17 and hit the tires.



look at the top of this rear shock, see how the eyelet was just riped out and stretched out.

 

Sounds like something to plan for next year. I got there very early Thurs morning and was able to save a really good spot in Greenpark. I'd love to get the S2KI guys come down.....90% of my friends that go every year are VW Audi guys so I'd like to get a Honda camp going.

 

Thats a very sexy looking race car but I hope Mazda Speed left one of their race queens with you guys too..........she'd be very nice to wrench on. She was the hottest thing at the track to me.

 

omg the hottiest asian chick in the world was there! like 20 times a day we had a pit car with 4-8 skippy mechanics on it just giving her the ef you eyes lol
