Default 2 Free and great mods

This weekend I did the top mod and modified the cover under the top. If you have a sub in the trunk, that cover will make such a difference with the sound and any rattle. The top mod is awesome, now you dont have to be fully stopped to put the top up or down.

You splice some wires to your speed sensors on the wheels and the ebrake light. Now I just have to click the ebrake handle one click until the light comes on, then you can operate the top.

Isn't there a way to do this so that you don't have to touch the e-brake at all? That's how I want it.

It's probably wise to have some sort of safety so nothing (items in car, passenger, children in car, etc.) don't accidentally operate the top while the car is going 70mph.
...it's up to you, just my $.02

...what was the other mod - vibration? Sub?

The tray that sits under the top, I pulled it out to have it modified, cutting out the center and then using grille cloth to cover it.

I think the two latches would serve that purpose pretty well...

Evil - Did you do it this way: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=138773

Seriously???

You think those latches would come undone or loose or what? Are we talking about the same latches?

I'm talking about the heavy duty ones that latch the top to the windshield...I don't think those are going anywhere...at any speed.
