I never seem to know if something will be coming up with work, so can I register now and be OK to cancel by the registration cutoff date? Or I guess it'd probably be better to just hold off until I know for sure, huh?

Anyway, I'm in Deltona, so I'm thinking that I'll cruise along the Ocala National Forest with the top down. Anyone know about this route? Like maybe the speed limit or speed most actually drive through there? I got 35MPG the last time I cruised at a constant 50-55MPH.

Anyone else in the area interested in a nice cruise?

bandiscoot know's his way around there, myself and a couple of the otown guys we're supposed to take a drive through there, but everyone ended up being busy so it never happened. that's a good idea though

42 is a nice little road and always in decent shape

However, I'd modify your route once you hit Weirsdale/CR25. I'd take CR25 north around the lake and then through Belleview. You can take hwy 484 right out to Garlit's.

If you take 42 past cr25 you'll end up on the north side of the Villages and some very straight and crappy narrow roads. Not fun.

The route around Lake Weir is where I'd suggest to folks for a scenic tour on Sunday. However, I'd turn off at Oklawaha and head east and north through some back forest roads eventually ending up on SR40 and 314a. There are some great roads in that area.

All that is on the other side of Ocala in comparison to the Karting. So, I'm not sure if that kind of a drive still interested anyone. I could still do both!

It's how I go to the North/East side of Orlando each and every time. Just a nice little zig-zag through Weirsdale, Eustis, and Sorrento. Still some nice farms along the way

The drive to Cedar Key is similar especially with a drive through Gothe State Forest

working on this aspect....good question, thanks

last year that was just someone who was there (and super cool) snapping away when the group drive roll ins came in.

we are developing an idea of having a staged area inside the museum for shots of individuals or groups for a nominal fee (covers time/effort of photographer for day and picture delivery (electronic)). Maybe a drag car outside somewhere for photo ops. waddayathink?

If my contact is open to the idea, we could probably put together a package of some kind.

I am not sure if this person would be able to stage at the gate to capture everyones roll in

Does the idea of a staged shot either outside or in the museum appeal to anyone?

Of course we will want to stage all the cars for a group shot or two or fifty!!!!

Scott you being silly, fool??

i seriously think Rob would'nt approve... besides, he has an S2000, and I like those cars...
he may have meant the Civic, although I doubt RoB would approve that either

I would not want my Classic 91 Accord to get shot at with anything
