Default About ready to toss the S off of a cliff

I really need to find someone versed in suspension setup to take my car for a drive. Even after having 3 of the lower A-arms replaced due to them freezing up with rust (and me lubing the crap out of the remaining one) and 6+ times on the alignment rack, the car is still way too twitchy at highway speeds (though she does feel much better now that the A-arms can actually move).

If I can't resolve this issue, I'm going to dump Michelle in a local lake

Anyone know a suspension god who will be at Sebring or maybe a local autocross anytime soon? She's drivable, but doesn't install the confidence she used to.

Get out a PM or phone call to CONE KILLA. He is a major player in the Auto Cross events. Lives in Brandon (eastern Tampa).

Mac, have you called Ztec? If you can get to O-town, I'm sure he can give it the once over. He'd probably be able to help you out a bit....

What about Wei-Shen Chin? (He's wchin on the forum, I think.) He should be semi-local to you too.

If you're really down & out, you could always offer to fly Billman250 down here to take a look see.

It still feels as if an A-arm is sticking. I lubed every bolt on the back end, and the lower front arms have been replaced, so this weekend I'll make sure the upper arms on the front are still moving and lube those up for good measure.

Dan, have you checked the struts? Sounds like you may have one that is bent, and it won't move up and down like it should. I have seen this problem and it sort of causes a torque steer condition under acceleration and deceleration. It could also cause the car to dart from side to side when hitting bumbs in the road. Have you had any crash damage to the suspension?

I haven't paid close attention to them lately, but they were fine when I put them on just before X-mas... I picked them up with 4-5,000 miles on them from a member down south (rateds2k). No accidents, just a lot of suspension work and alignments due to the 3 replaced lower A-arms.

It twitches a bit over bumps (though not as severe as it used to with the frozen arms), but smooth/straight road performance seems to have suffered... could be small ruts in the road I don't see, but I have driven one specific 10 mile stretch of interstate for 8 months now and I've only noticed this in the last couple of months.
