I really don't understand why people don't wear seatbelts. Seriously. WEAR THEM PEOPLE. Hope they come out alright.
A few years ago a very close friend of my sons was killed at age 16 and he was not wearing a seatbelt. He was driving and his passanger was wearing a seatbelt and survived.

It is tragic to see a life ended so young, especially when it could possibly have been prevented.

My wife almost died from not wearing hers. They found her under the dashboard. Broken pelvis in 3 places. I dont let people in my car without buckling up.

oh my.. my very best wishes for recovery for all.. no it doesn't makes any sense.. we don't know what one second is going to be like and seatbelts are in all vehicles for that very reason... like, why we don't have steel dash's.. why we have head rests.. airbags... why we have seat belts... and why the industry through the years spends tons on seeing how safe or whatever they can to make something as safe as might be and some don't use'm... like blinkers... but people have been told, laws were written.. makes me wonder why do people think they're indestructable... paper cuts my skin, i'm not protected against paper but damn, just shows how fragile my body is...

it's all too easy to point the finger at the victims. We don't know the whole story. Be careful with such huge assumptions.

That's like a motorcyle rider going out without a helmet. He knows there is a chance that he may wreck and bust his skull all over the street, but some still do it. Stupidity. People that don't wear seat belts in a convertible are stupid as well.

im so used to the strict seatbelt fines in tx, its always a force of habbit to put mine on... my friend though is still alive because he DIDNT put his seatbelt on.. he was driving an integra and if it wasnt cuz he was thrown out the car the cops said his death wouldve been a sure thing. (car landed on train track and demolished by incoming train) he was found by a tree with his tongue severed.. hope this guy in the S is ok though.. my prayers are with him and a full recovery..
