Cole,

IMO you might want to go to a advance defensive driving course before you go to a race school. Im not saying you don

you should look into these:

-Chin Motorsports (im a member with them)

-NASA (National Auto Sport Association)

-PBOC (Porsche and BMW Owners Club - Some BMW CCA chapters use them exclusively for their driving schools)

-PCA (Porsche Club of America)

-S.A.F.E. (i dont know much about them)

all of them should allow S2K's to run...

Does Chin allow the S2k with only the factory roll hoops? Have you done sebring with Chin?

Yes they do.

PCA is cheaper, SAFE is a little cheaper, PBOC isn't too bad. Chin is getting too expensive IMO, although I do love Chin's format and have supported his events since they started and still do (mostly because of Wei-shen).

You'll have a great time at any of these events, Sebring is a fun course, Homestead is OK but more dangerous (more walls closer to the track surface) and there are some awesome tracks outside Florida if you don't mind a drive

Skip Barber does schools at Sebring and Daytona - - I did my 3-day and 2-day advanced racing school at Daytona and first race weekend at Sebring - - check them out

I've also done a Panoz racing school at Sebring.

Both aren't cheap but well worth it, the instruction with Skip Barber is exceptional, you get instruction from some of the top drivers out there, both former champions and current hot shoes, plus the formula race cars are awesome - -

good luck

yes and yes

chin is more expensive that PCA and PBOC, etc... but you get 3-4 hours of actual track time... thats significant... i like it cause of where i am in driver development and budget, it offers me a good compromise... its A LOT cheaper that Skip Barber and Panoz...

I want to check out some of the above mentioned driving schools.

I figure when I have time available I will look into them.

Right now I just have to deal with what I get from work. (which are not bad at all)
