Contact the buyer and tell him he's buying stolen goods and that's illegal.

If he's a fellow s2k owner, I would think he would care greatly. Any other decent human being should care as well, and although there aren't an abundance of them, it seems like a lot of the fellow auto enthusiasts I have met are pretty decent people. I'm definitely not saying that's all I would do, but it wouldn't hurt anything and could potentially help, so I'd definitely do it.

I actually know this guy pretty well and have done several transactions with him when I had an Si back in the day. Last I recall he had that set in his car a few months ago, he drives a Blue Si on some gold wheels. He buys from forums like craigslist, honda-tech and some local forums and resells on eBay. I'll see if I can get in contact with him and give you guys some info.

im just saying its a lil coincidence... i dont care for what he is going to answer you or what not. just let it be. its not like hes going to come up saying that it was him nor he'll show proof of legit about those blue seats.

Well I got to speak with him earlier this evening and it turns out those seats were the ones in his Si, I even asked him if it had the SRS unit underneath with all wires intact and he said yes (due to the fact that a majority of the stolen ones do not). I asked him why he decided to sell such clean seats that match the car so well and it turns out he had sold the car to get an S2000 and the buyer wanted to pay $1000 less then the asking price so they both agreed to remove the seats for the $1000 less.

Also, might wanna check out this fellow

I think the Orlando traps are in effect. This evening at 1 a.m. I passed a car lot in one of the heaviest crime ridden areas of Orlando. It is at the corner of Tampa ave. and West Colonial. Right out in front was a S2000 with its' top down after midnight. It had '06-'07 seats that were glistening in the moonlight and covered with a light coat of dew.

I feel better now believing that this was not the fault of a forgetful salesman but, apparently our tax dollars at work.

I also don't believe that the next time the bait won't be so blatant.

Is it really a trap? I saw the same exact car while I was driving on Colonial today and its less than a block away from Orange County Sheriff Headquarters. They really have to put the car somewhere else, like downtown Orlando.
