The point is: I don't think that there would only be one "baited" car. Some traps will look like traps and some traps will not. So the thief has to ask himself if he feels lucky or if he will be doing time and facing grand theft charges.

If they want a good place to set a trap they should put it in the parking garage of my building downtown. Since December of 2008, we've had a total of 5 hit. They got mine last March, but I learned my lesson and now have the seat locks and a very good alarm with shock, proximity, etc and very bright blue flashing LED's.

hey, i dont really want to bump an old thread, but i can tell you that "jap spec imports" has been connected with a few stolen cars in the area. i remember reading a few threads on FSS (floridastreetscene) years back about their shady practices. im looking for them now and will post when i find them.
