The point is: I don't think that there would only be one "baited" car. Some traps will look like traps and some traps will not. So the thief has to ask himself if he feels lucky or if he will be doing time and facing grand theft charges.


And yes, as you can see, the car lot is less than 1000' from the Sheriff's office.

If they want a good place to set a trap they should put it in the parking garage of my building downtown. Since December of 2008, we've had a total of 5 hit. They got mine last March, but I learned my lesson and now have the seat locks and a very good alarm with shock, proximity, etc and very bright blue flashing LED's.

If you own an S2000 and you do not have an alarm, you will be sorry. It will happen!

 

well a doctor Friend of my Doctor that both work in Palmetto Hospital told me that his seats were jack twice with 4 months in the Doctors parking area and no one did anything about it

hey, i dont really want to bump an old thread, but i can tell you that "jap spec imports" has been connected with a few stolen cars in the area. i remember reading a few threads on FSS (floridastreetscene) years back about their shady practices. im looking for them now and will post when i find them.
