The AP1 feels more "raw" than the AP2, so I prefer it over the AP2. As far as what is faster...in a straight line or autocrossing, it's a drivers' race.

Well since my motor is niether anymore,

I have no comment.

For those who don't know my motor (currently with HG problem)
it is a 2.2 stoker that redlines at 10k, or as the power band looked on the dyno. Did not take it that high. Put down 449 rwhp with 319 ftp of torque at 7500 rpms at 16 psi. Oh I was loosing boost during the pulls due to a 7lb spring in the waste gate.

Once things are figured out, will be getting tuned and getting a dyno sheet with a file I can open next time.

It's a tie in the quarter. AP1's are the shizzle though!

WERE ALL ON THE SAME TEAM HERE. BUT, I'D SACRIFICE 1000RPM FOR THE SUBTLE CHANGES HONDA MADE. THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT REFUSE TO RIDE WITH ME SO ITS "RAW" ENOUGH.
Hey Barry, no need to shout

Even though I have an Ap1, and I voted for the Ap1, I was just trying to show some love to the Ap1. Me and my best friend Travis are pretty much identical drivers. But every time we would race from the light, it would either be dead even, or I would win one, or he would win one. But the difference in parts are... I have a header, test pipe, and exhaust. He just has exhaust. But... He has got 18 inch wheels, I got stock 16's. So all in all, they are about dead even. I think if you got a V tech controller for the Ap1, or a chip, then you would beat an Ap2. Just my opinion though. God Bless, John

Alright guys Bort617 and I were debating on which is faster in the 1/4 mile. Even though i own an Ap1 i still believe that the Ap2 is faster. Brett being the hardcore Ap1 fan that he is doesn't agree with me. We looked up on s2ki to see what we could find but it was just a lot of useless information. We decided that the best way to go about it is to just let you guys vote and decide this once and for all.
eric... unfortunatly you are incorrect... it has been proven that AP1's are faster...

the real debate is which color AP1 is faster... evidence supports Berlina Black, especially during daylight... because light disappears into the color and thus does not bounce off the surface... this means less friction as air passes over the vehichle and is thus slightly more aerodynamic... Honda notes all pre-production testing was indeed done on Black cars... but there will be NO TSB... honda has categorically refused to re-paint S2000's Black after purchase.

That is the most ridiculous explanation ever. We all know GPW is the fastest. Black absorbs all the heat and is therefore runs hotter. White, however, reflects heat=>less heat bog. FTW!

Sorry, I have to disagree with both of you. I do believe that Sebring is by far the fastest color out their. I mean just ask Bill or Jeremy. They will tell you that nto only does it look better, it is much faster. Also I think the full red interior just enhances that belief even further. God Bless, John
