Just wanted to post up the next Auto-X for the Bucc region for those interested. It's been too long since my last and I cannot wait!

Jacksonville Solo 2 Event Schedule
Course Set Up: - 7:00 am
Registration: 8:00 am to 9:15 am
Tech Inspection: 8:00 am to 9:30 am
Driver's Meeting: 9:30 am
First Car Off: 9:45 am

Looking over the year's schedule it's a little disappointing that the only location for the auto-x's are going to be Gainesville. Hopefully they can pull something off and actually obtain more venues.

I like GIR though, but it would get slightly boring for every event..

 

Yeah...hate to say, but GIR is too far for a BR-SCCA event. They need to start those events a little later in the morning to give Jax folks time to drive over.

I was doing some GoogleMap exploring to see if I could find a new site for them...have a candidate I want to explore this weekend.

 

Rob, what about Deland? It's on 20 Jan as well.

 

Yea I will be in deland. GIR is such a better place to be than deland, but I am going to run points in CF region. Plus deland is only 20 min from my house.

 

 

I'll also be in Deland. No Novice class allowed at this GIR event. I have done 6 full track days at GIR and I am actually pretty quick on that track, but I'm not allowed to sign up for this one, (and I understand SCCA's policy/position) so Deland it is!

Yeah, I wouldn't be able to do this drive for the auto-x every time... I do enjoy Gainesville's track though.

Lets see what you can find, I really miss Reynold's Park and St. Augustine w/ the skidpad.
