I want to auto X a couple of time here soon but my car breaks free way easy. I have not really found the limits of the car yet to be comfortable in the cones LOL

Maybe once I get some wheels and lower profile tires??

Pilot Competitions in the rear

and some new offering from the cooper spinoff brand that Kauffman Tire suggested at really good prices for the front. I have not seen much of her for a while so the name escapes me right now but everything is OEM spec measurements. They are all z rated or equivalent. Speed rated ???

BTW Scorpion, your signature girl is sporting a S 20000 shirt/tube top/bandana/whatever that scrap of cloth is....... LOL

I have to agree with Eric. There are many of you in this area who have thought about doing something fun like this. This is the perfect venue for all the newbies to learn the limits of your cars. Sunriders is not a compedetive group. There are no worries about safety with these guys. They are super nice and offer lots of instruction. Maybe Eric & I can start posting about these a week or two in advance so more people know about it!

Primogen-This is where you can go to learn the limits of your car...not where you go after you learn the limits. Eric started off with a lot of squirliness & a massive spin yesterday, but settled down nicely and managed to kick some butt of his own. I also have a feeling that you have some inappropriate tire combo's that may be causing some of your problems. Let me know if I can help you with this!

here is the final times from May 15th:

Yeah my compounds might be wrong and the size of these tires (sidewalls) are still thick. Even with my Drop (comptech Adj Springs with approx 1.5 all the way around I am still super squirrley. Todd and I zip around some back roads around his print shop to and fro from 2nrwerks and I bust loose all the time. I might be attacking the corners too strong too. I am either over confident or the setup is bad. He grips well (NA1 NSX with 18-19 stagger I think) but he busts loose a little from time to time as well.

Can 18's and SO3's help?? I am very low and the suspension is good IMHO

I could use all the help you can give. Being good at GT4 is one thing, thinking you have the correct steering and power in a line in a real car is another. Hell, I cant even rev match yet

I wanted to go to this but read somewhere that it was members only. Seeing as I don't have a Miata I didn't think much more about it. On the same subject though is anyone doing Brooksville this coming weekend. Registration deadline is tommorow and I'm seriously considering it, just think I would rather go with a few other people I know since it would be my first time and I don't really know how the whole thing works. If anyones planning on going let me know please.

LOL that's what happens when you get bored at work and have a .gif editor

And I have to agree that your tires are the main reason for lack of traction. When I went from the S02s to the Yoko ES100 I had to relearn how to drive the car. There just wasn't the same amount of traction. But it did make the car a little more fun to drive...love going sideways
