I dont know why but when I see those birds either in the wild or at the various bird shows at bush gardens and other places, I get so emotional about our country and what that bird signifies.

Just seeing one of those on the arm of a handler at a show is just awe inspiring. everyone has seen pictures of a bald eagle but to see one 5 feet from you just staring out and being so badass at all times, it is no wonder it is our national bird.

Thank god that Ben Franklin did not get his way when he suggested the Wild Turkey get the nod for national bird!!!

BOP are badass! I remember growing up in Orlando and all the Osprey that lived on the local lakes. I loved watching them.

It is an honor to have Bald Eagles roosting so close to you Chiung, thanks for sharing the pictures.

I saw one of them again this afternoon. It took off out of the pine tree, circled around and landed again. Times like this I wish I were a decent photographer with a good telephoto setup.

I talked to one of our photographers at work, and he is dying to photograph the Bald Eagles. You let me know if you are serious about getting good pictures. It can be done.
