Blown Engine.
Hi I live in Spring Hill and i need a good shop some where around central Florida to rebuild/replace my engine could any one give me some info?
My friend got his engine replaced with a 2.4 stoker at some shop in clearwater? some where around there he said they only do s2k's and nsx's but i cant get a hold of him to ask.
Lilttle info- 03' black with 83,xxx miles. i was at 7,000rpm on the suncoast in 3rd gear and heard a slight clunk very faint and the engine just died as if the key was turned off. looked in the rear view no smoke, friends said it didnt smoke or anything. so i coasted to a stop check under the hood no leaks not over heated nothing completly normal. so i tried to crank it.... nothing. spent 2 hours under an under pass waiting for a tow truck... got flatbeded to my house. as the truck stoped at the light at springhill and mariner it was pretty embarrasing to watch every one i know look at my s2k on the flat bed lol. any when i got home and first thing i did was pull the #4 plug sure enough to find it was broken 2 or 3 threads from the bottem the rest where all fine. well i did a compression test. results in order from 1-4 (165.0.60.0) If i play with the gas i can get it to start and run on two cylenders. no weird noises no grinding clunking nothing.
So this all happend around late august early september. I have a little money saved up and i need to get it back on the road i cant have a truck that gets 10mpg as a DD.
If any one could please be so kind to tell me some respectible shops i would greatly appriciate it.

The only shop that I know that does S2000s and NSXs is 2NRWERKS.
I would think if you get the 2.4 conversion you will need an aftermarket ECU and tuning. If you can provide a block that can be either bored or honed then you will still drop around 6k I would guess.

What about this route.

I think it would be best then you can sell your stuff for about $800 everything included. Have it shipped direct to 2NRWERKS.
