I did not realize Tampa was not in the Florida West Forum. I have sent some posts with few replies. Thank you for heading me in the right direction. Sounds like this area has a lot of fun. I have had my 2004 S2K for 7 weeks and have loved it.

I am hoping to make it to the Skyway bridge event, but I am scheduled to be at the AKC/Eukanuba Dog Show Saturday at 11:00 AM

I know this probably sound a little weird, but hey I love English Springer Spaniels and S2K's.

If I don't make it what is the next event ?

This is usually the largest meet in the Tampa area. Hope you can make it. There are not scheduled meets as of yet. The next thing coming up is the Honda Grand Prix in St. Pete that will have 30 S2Ks in the parade lap. There are also some car shows coming up that some of us will be going to.

There is a chance that there will be a Florida Super Meet, but that hasn't been set in stone and will probably be held in Orlando, maybe April. Also, in April is the Wake the Dragon Event at Deals Gap in N. Carolina.

Did you ever own a BMW and attend BayBimmer events ?

 

Never had a BMW or been to any BMW events. What kind of events do the BayBimmers do?

 

Welcome. If you have a favorite car event, photo spot, drive, or even a great place to eat that you'd like to share it doesn't take much to get a few cars together for a cruise. Feel free to post a get together thread of your own. If you'd like help with planning PM me and I'd be glad to help.

Feel free to organize something. I think a lot of us are out of ideas. If you have something that you like to do that maybe a lot of us are unaware is happening in Tampa, throw it out there. I'm always looking for new roads to drive. Welcome!

 

Tidalwave I asked if you had a BMW because there was a Tidalwave on the Bay Bimmer forum. I must say they are a good group of people but I only got together with them 1-2 times before I sold my M3. I really do not have any novel ideas for Tampa events. For me any S2000 event is novel but for you it may be old hat.

On a different subject has anybody had Rennen in Tampa work on their S2K ? They do great work at fair prices. After my warranty is up I will go back. Jeff the part owner and lead mechanic is brilliant.
