Brake Bling

Had the car up for sale and had no good offers so I went with a little more bling. Slotted and drilled rotors from R1 Concepts. I have not driven them yet so no report if they stop better. I wanted to go with a big break kit but did not want to deal with spacers or different wheels.
Have you owned this car for a while? A few friends and I were just talking about this car when we saw it at the Kamispeed meet in (i think) 2009?! We were just discussing how good those Volks look in that color. Huge fan of the look
New brake setup looks good too!

It's called the quick jack http://www.quickjack.com/car-lift-sy...-car-lift.html pretty neat system. I got the 5K electric version. Since the car was lowered I had to make some special spacers. Very safe to work under the car and does not take up to much space. Wish I would have gotten it sooner. Also works well with the CRV and Civic.

These lifts are wonderful devices.
My wife works out of town during the week and I refuse to go under the car just supported by jackstands. I have the similar EZ Car Lift with near full sitting space underneath the car. Either of these lifts makes wheel/brake/tire service and under-car maintenance dirt simple. For example I swapped out the Invidia Q300 exhaust for the Tanabe Medalion Touring in maybe 20 minutes without no assistance. (Getting the stock exhaust off, though, took more effort!)
Mine is more bulky to store since it's one piece when assembled. Worm gears control the height.
I think I was painting the brake calipers a non-bling (content) black in this photo:

Here's a shot of my patented devices to get an S2000 high enough to get either of these devices underneath the frame rails. Please send your royalty payments to my PayPal account.
