Pics came in! Its kind of a bummer the photographer didnt get any good wide shots so you can see what the track is like. All the good pics were close ups.

First impression is great but will have to get back to a track im familiar with to really see how they stack up. That Lotus I was running with was on NT01. When I told him i was on street tires he wuz like "Street tires!?!?!?!?!" I was told a :43 would have been a good time for my setup thats :05 ill have to find next time i go to Barber.

Nice looking track, as I had noticed from watching CTSC/Indy races in the past.
Great smooth hands on the wheel! No wasted motion. .05 might be the difference between Street tires/slicks and a few more days familiarity?

Yeah turns 1 and 16 are scary so theres lots of time there. Turn 14 has time in it because its the trickiest turn on the track with the decreasing then increasing radius leading up to the slow right-hander 15. The rest of the track should still be scary but i was gutzy everywhere but 1 and 16. This track screams 4.44 gear ratio. Every straight leaves you at the 4th rev limiter. I would have liked to have a trailer for the event so I could try jumping the car off the curb at the kink. Someone out there can take the kink flat with a wing i think even though my local HC-1 pal Steven says no way. Big talk i know.......

I would think that is very possible. I didn't have my wing when I was there earlier this year. It was still oversteer city at that point with my square setup.

Im doing this event again this year since last year was so much fun. I just signed up to instruct. Its also the first towing the truck is gonna do. This track is epic and I encourage anyone interested to make the trip with me. Halloween weekend.
