Default Bye-Bye S2000...

I know it wasn't what I was originally looking for. But all things figured, it's really a very nice vehicle. My new daily driver is a 2003 Land Rover Freelander SE3. It's the 2 door, detachable hardtop model. Very nice. Drives very nice (which is saying alot, because I'm not huge on SUV's), interior is super clean, it's awesomely practical, stereo sounds great (all Harmon Kardon equipment), and is AWD.

But best of all, my goal to free up a little extra money was met with success. My car payments will now be almost $200/month lower than it was with the S2000.

Here's some pics.

Yes, I'm going to miss the Honda. It's a huge leap from a tiny 2-seat roadster to a big (to me anyway) SUV. But looking at the long-term, this was the right decision to make. Besides, I shouldn't be without a sports car for too long...

The only real issue I've heard about so far with this V6 is oil consumption. Coming from an F20C, this is nothing new to me to check the level once a week.

ask todd about rovers

vehicle looks good and i am sure it is a performer but I have heard bad things about their suspension (especially if you have the air ride version)

they are expensive to maintain.

but if you like then kudos to you I am sure not all of them are bad.

Haha, yeah, the top secret new Advans. Super JDM.

Anyway, yeah, people keep telling me how expensive they are to keep up, but in reality, I did some research on the Freelanders and they don't seem to have that many problems. Besides, it's always good to have a friend at a Land Rover dealer...which I just happen to have.

And now I have something to tow the new race car project with...
