well one problem i see, is that if the car was turboed how well is that tranny and differetial holding up? just some other things to consider. oh by the way newsguy you don't want nates s2k. too much rice haha with that oem 04 wing
by the way nate too bad we didnt see this car with the turbo on it. would of been nice to see what it could of done

Yeah, the tranny and differential could be issues. I'm sure Nate will be able to steer me away even FURTHER after checking it out this weekend. The guy does sound pretty meticulous though about upkeep.

'04 wing huh? Nate is this true---guess that means you've got TREMENDOUS down force on the straightaways!

well you do have nate looking at the car, he will find a bug spot and complain about it and try to get them to fix it or discount it lol. the boy will question every little bump and noise. so I am sure he will tell you. I may go with him as well and check it out. could be fun to pull up in 2 s2ks he will know we know our stuff lol

Nate sounds like MY kinda guy! Actually that'd be WAY cool if you guys both showed up. I'm sure he'd be hard pressed to hide anything from 2 enthusiasts!!

Meanwhile, here's what I found out via email--about the differential and tranny FYI---

The tranny is in good shape (as Nate will be able to attest). The
differential is brand new (I had a kaaz differential on the Turbo setup, it
was great, but I sold it and purchased a stock pumpkin - expensive). The
differential is running with stock diff oil, but I never really noticed a
difference when I originally put the GM gearmesh(?) oil in it. Regardless,
it's in great shape.
