Okay, only one more week. I'm thinking the Tampa group can meet up by the Ellenton (sp) Mall Outlet (same place that we met for the Bradenton Raceway event?). We can all hook up there, then meet up with the Sarasota group and then head to Boca. Should be a nice large caravan. Does that sound like a plan? We just need to pin down times to meet up and we are set.

Ellenton is pretty far north for the Sarasota/Venice people to hook up with you all. We'll try to meet you by one of the Sarasota exits, so as to be convenient and not slow the progress too much.

The exact meeting place will be specified later.

The meeting spot for joining the Tampa/St. Pete caravan with the Sarasota/Venice caravan will be at the Burger King/Mobil Station.

Take I-75 to exit 205
Head West on Clark Road (get into the far left lane immediately)
Turn left at first stop light (Catamaran)
Take immediate right toward Mobil station.
Just past Mobil station look for Sarasota caravan at Burger King.

Arrive exit 205 between 10:30 and 10:45 am

 

Dave, I plan on heading over the Skyway in the morning and will try to meet up with you TBA guys coming from your side of town. I know the Ellentown exit, is that where you want to group before we group with Steven at exit 205? I don't know if there are others that will be doing the Skyway route or not. Give me a time and place and we'll hook up. Also PM me your cphone # as I think I lost it.

Do we want to hook up at Ellenton, or just wait and all hook up with the Sarasota folks? I'm guessing I'll be coming with Quarters and Dave (FLS2K). If we hook up at Ellenton, that gives us more driving photos ops! Lisa will be able to get some driving shots on the way down before the highway turns to two lanes or whatever it reduces to after Sarasota.
