Hey all. I wanted to start getting the word out about a local weekly meet we have in Orlando on Monday nights at 8:30. For quite awhile, we had been meeting at the Sonics on University and Goldenrod, however we've decided to make some changes and centralize the meets in the city, moving it to our tentative permanant spot at the Steak and Shake located on Hwy. 50 (Colonial Drive) across from the Fashion Square Mall.

Now, currently we've been basically a Miata-only group...sort of a branch off of the "Dirty Fingernails Club" Orlando Miatas....ranging from 6-12 cars each week. We've rencently been having discussions on spreading out to include other roadsters as well who share our passion, which would include our brethren Spyders, Z3/4's, Boxters, SLK's, S2000's, MG's, etc.

haha Hey Aaron this board is kind of slow, compared to club si or Honda tech. I'll of course go, just I need a few weeks before I can drive the S2K, I have 100 miles left on my warranty and my passenger seltbelt has started rattling when you go to put it on. I want covered under warranty so I've been driving the Civic until I can get the car into the dealership next week.

definately down... I tried this with local s2k owners and had marginal success... I'll show up hopefully this week, if not next... What is up with the police situation? are the people who attend the meet fairly tame as far as attracting attention to the group? I hate being harrassed for things I've not done....

 

Never been an issue. We're quite a tame little group, really....I don't think the loc. authorities view our little roadsters as much of a threat, in all honesty

We're going to be meeting up at the Steak N Shake on 50, heading East of Bumby on the right hand side....if you make it to Smokey Bones, you've gone too far.

warpspeed, we all met at 8:30 ish... Had a great time guys... Have fun at your Dyno day if I can't make it! I will definately come hang out again!
