Cleaning question
I was bringing my dog home from a vet visit yesterday and she threw up on my passenger seat and floor. I didn't have anything to clean it with and was only 5 blocks from home. I pulled the seat and shampooed teh carpet disassembled the seat bottom I can't get all the hog rings to come off and don't want to damage the seat any further. Any recommendations on whether or not to take it to an upholstery shop to get cleaned or clean it as is and put it back.
I noticed there is some sort of liner under the seat skin, how well does it work at keeping spills from penetrating the cushion? I tried smelling it but I can't tell if the smell is in the skin or cushion. Any recommendations of something to at least kill the odor would be great.
