The GF has a conference at Disney in November so I'll be tagging along for the weekend.

I'm looking for restaurant suggestions as well as bars to go to at night. I'm not looking for clubs, but bars/lounges to hang out and have some drinks.

I'll be arriving on a Friday night and leaving on Monday morning.

If you are in Disney, check out Pleasure Island it has different Clubs for different types of music. Or Downtown Disney right next door, good shopping and good food.

If you want to go a lil further out check out City Walk in Universal Orlando. The groove is an awesome club, must check it out. I beleive one of the guys on here is the manager of the club. City Walk also has different clubs/bars (Like Pat O'Briens the best hurricanes!!) Goo places to eat as well Oh and also a Movie Theater.

I'm sure others from the Orlando area can chime in and help you out. Thats my info from where i like to go when i head to Orlando.

I am assuming that with your conference schedule you probably want to stay in the area and not get too crazy - you have plenty of options right near you. Do you have transportation once you are there?

What kind of club is the groove? I'm looking for more of a place just have some drinks - I don't really care about dancing, etc.

Any other restaurant suggestions? We tried to get reservations at Emeril's place about 2 months ago and it was already booked. We are going to try again to see if there are any last minute cancellations.
