Well, still looking at my Elise options and thinking about just adding a SC to my S and keeping it.
Is the money worth spending for a SC? Also, any good places to get this installed and keep my warranty on my car within Florida? How much is a normal install?
Forget the SC and just get the Elise?
All feedback would be great. I cannot believe I have another four months to think about this stupid car buying decision.

Another idea that you might think about is investing some of the money into driving events such as an evolution autocross school, or some Sebring HPDE's. This is the route I'm going before forced induction at this point. I'm trying to master the car in it's current state before adding any power. The bonus with this route is you get to hang out with me at all these events!
Otherwise, rims are a good choice...
Just my 2cents!

If your worried about warranty, I know that Tampa Hondaland will install a SC for you. This would be the safest (and probably most expensive) route. I should qualify that they used to do this. I haven't checked in a while if they still do.
Keep the S. Better group of people.
Do the supercharger or Turbo. Get Coco to do it at Tampa Hondaland. They will warranty the car if they do it.
Comptech is the only carb certified in all 50 states if you think about resale. I don't know of any dealer that will install a Vortech and let you keep your warranty.
The mount of HP is directly related to the amount of boost. Vortech puts about 7 lbs. Comptech puts 6lbs. An underdrive pulley will fix that. I will have a 4 in pulley available in about three weeks.
Plus the Comptech looks nicer without all those bolts.
I am a little biased but I am also the guy that said Dave should go turbo. There are plenty of kits out there that put out less than 8 lbs of boost and run really well. More power in the mid section of the power curve.

I'll drive in Florida for a good price. Just looking now. The Elise is out. I've decided to save money for the move to NC in two years. I'm more excited to move to Charlotte than I am to have an Elise. Once up there, the S will be paid off and we will look for an Elise for me and a MINI for the wife. Until then, money will go into the bank, maybe a SC and some rims for the S.

Add that to your list of mods.
