Cusco 3 pc brace installed
i picked up a Cusco 3 pc chasis brace used from a fellow S2ki member and finally installed it today.
simple install and i hope it's worth the 20 lbs i added to the car. i drove around the block to verify nothing was loose but no "real" driving review. IMHO, i doubt there will be any noticable difference. it's a nice piece and it fit, so that made me happy. it will help with some additional side impact strength and i hope it helps with some chasis strength. i think (whatever that's worth) a custom X brace under the occupants would do a better job.
i will say that i have to have a very strong front end, between Rick's X brace, the cusco 3pc cross over tube and the factory cross over, my lower front end has to be stiff. All i need to complete the front end is an upper stress bar, i know everyone says they do nothing but i still want one.
sorry to all you Cusco fans, i hated the blue color and painted it black.
