Default DAMN... Paint Peeling!

The paint on my front and rear bumpers are peeling on my 3 week old, 1500 mile S2000.

At the front, its on the passenger side headlight edge where the light meets the bumper and at the rear, its on the driver side edge where the fender meets the bumper.

I took it to Braman Honda this afternoon and they agreed to repaint them under warranty. I hope this isn't going to be an ongoing problem with my car.

I knew that was a problem on some of the early S's, but I hadn't heard of it on any 02's.

Sorry dude, that sucks!

I had the same issue a couple of weeks back on the rear passenger's side where the bumper and fender rub against each other.

Got Honda to repaint it under warranty and it looks good but wondering if it will continue to happen.

Well, my car was left at Braman Honda to repaint both bumpers at H&M Body Shop.

I just noticed on my bottom front lip last friday when washing the car that about 1000 little yellow pits were all over only the bottom optional lip. I thought they were just bugs so I went to wash them off and noticed i could feel it and it wouldnt go away. So i somehow got 1000 chips on my front spoiler only??

Is the optional front lip painted with cheaper paint than the rest of the car? You think honda would warranty a repainting of it?

The rest of the front bumper is perfect, only the front lip seemed to have gotten all chipped up.
