I couldn't reply on the other thread as it has been locked but just to let you know. If you really want I will start being lazy along with all the other members of the armed forces. Then your complaining ass can be happy living in a dictatorship or a communist state.

If you really don't like it here just let me know and I will gladly pay for you a one way ticket out of our great country and let your ass rot somewhere else!!

I think everyone needs to take a time out. This is a car forum and the reason that other thread got closed was because it got out of hand. When something like that goes beyond the friendly debate it needs to be closed. I see this thread turning into a name calling I'm right your wrong thread. Please, for the sake of sanity, STOP! You never know who might be able to help you out here. We don't want any division in the Florida forum. Thanks, James.

James,

I can easily agree to disagree on a point but when it comes to attacking my work ethic or my country that i will die for (you took the same oath I did) I truly feel those people have no need to be here. They are unthankful and don't realize how good they have it here. If it wasn't for you, me and others like us, like you said we wouldn't be able to even discuss this topic. That being said I am using my rights to discuss it and give my opinion. That being said I will not direct it at anyone person but give an over all option to anyone not happy here in the USA i will gladly pay for a one way ticket out of this great country to any pit of dispare on this planet that they choose!! I served in the US Navy for 4 years active and 4 years reserve. I love my country and am very patriotic. Absolute Freedom is what sets our country apart from the rest. Although we may not agree or get along at all with each other that freedom of thought and speech and action (within reason of course) is our right and that's what I think is most important.

not trying to take sides here, but wouldnt the right to free speech include the choice to speak ones native language. granted i dont think they should get special treatment just cause they dont want to learn english. but i dont see any harm in having to press one to proceed in english. and also remember that most people that come to our great country come out of poverty and did not have the opportunity to go to good schools. and for adults it is harder to learn a new language. i come from a mixed family and have dealt with this issue alot over the years, and realized that its just doesnt pay to cling to issues like this. just my .02.

I have no problem with people keeping their native language and speaking it in their homes. But when I have to choose spanish or english in every daily task that i do, it gets a little ridiculous.

Our citizenship test that is given out to those wanting to become citizens is now offered in 4 languages. What kind of crap is that.

I understand that america is there for people to come to and be free but i know we didn't say "give us your weak, poor, and your welfare gouging."

That is where i have a problem. If you want to live here 1) learn english as it is the "native" language 2) pass the citizenship test in english 3) preform your business in english 4) pay taxes and don't sponge off of our government.

Tis reminds me of a good quote

"While I may not agree with your views, I will fight for them with my life"

May not be spot on, but you get the idea. I have nothing but respect for our military. I dont have the balls to join, but I am in the process of becoming a pig (FHP).

good luck on the FHP

I have 2 classes left to complete my masters in criminal justice, specializing in cyber crime.

If the Navy doesn't work out i might be looking to law enforcement also.
