i was reading the Dragon forum and there still is not a selected date yet. I have requested April 15-16 off of work but there are talks that the Dragon could be the last weekend of April. If anyone has any info please let the community know.

 

Dates are not confirmed yet; Airgate is working on finalizing it with Fontana & coordinating with other car groups so we don't have multiple large groups there the same weekend.

I expect a formal announcement after the New Year in early January.

The S was built for the Dragon and roads like it in the area surrounding the Dragon.

We will once again do our usual trip, Departing early Thursday morning en route to Dillard House in Dillard Ga; overnight there then Friday morning take some great roads (War Woman, Mini Dragon, etc) into Fontana Village. Then it will be Hell Bender & Dragon Runs the rest of the day.

Friday evening @ Fontana will be the welcome event with beer swap etc.

Saturday will be the Monster roll out to the Dragon then some type of organized group drive which will take up the daylight hours. Then the S2KI Banquet with dinner and prizes and this year an after party at my cabin! (we did this on a small scale last year and we will try to expand it for 2010)

Sunday morning departure for T-town.
