I just picked up the new issue of Men's Journal. From time to time they have articles about driving vactations. They once had one about running some of the local roads in Northern California in a rented Boxster, good article.

This month it's all about the Dragon. And the photo shows a Cayman cutting a nice apex, right through the center line of the road. From what I've heard this is a definite no-no. Now they probably got the road closed or something so I went on to read. But, no where in the article does author caution the reader about the few simple rules of ettiqutte that I've heard.

My only fear is that this main stream publicity will start making the cops want to "crack down" or something.

I've never been up yet and I hope things don't get ruined before I get a chance.

Has anybody else seen the article and what do you think?

 

I wouldn't worry too much. The Men's Journal is slightly more upscale than say the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. Not many young people that I'm aware of read MJ, and even fewer would drive up that far just to drive some more.

If I had to guess, I'd say we would be safe.

yeah cayman or not it is still the worst idea that was had that day IMHO.

Not sure they would close the road for a MJ photoshoot so.........
